Hitachi Energy in Milan is seeking a Logistics Operations Specialist to coordinate outbound and inbound shipments for EU suppliers to a Sweden-based factory. The role focuses on real-time issue communication with shippers and receivers and requires a structured, proactive approach in a fast-paced environment.

This temporary position offers exposure to end-to-end transport across air, ocean and road modes. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in logistics, a relevant degree, and strong English

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or a related field preferred.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
• Highly organized and structured approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Mansioni

• Coordinate outbound and inbound from EU suppliers to the Sweden-based factory, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement.
• Collaborate with freight forwarders and transport providers to secure reliable services.
• Plan and optimize deliveries across air, ocean, and road modes; monitor milestones and documentation.
• Review freight invoices and participate in cost analysis and savings initiatives.
• Communicate in real time about service issues with shippers and receivers; maintain ERP system enhancements awareness.
