Role Overview

This internship offers hands‑on experience with the Global Logistics Team, where you will assist the Global Logistics Excellence Manager with daily tasks such as:

  • The carry-over of the Sea Change Project (Global TMS)
  • Analyzing primary freight through a set of given KPIs while proposing action plans aimed at optimizing cost, service and sustainability
  • Evaluating and improving route‑to‑market strategies, streamlining the intercompany flows
  • Monitoring KPIs and enhancing dashboards for both primary freights and contract logistics
  • Contributing to logistics related sustainability initiatives
  • Any other logistics project which will be launched during your tenure
Education & Experience

You are currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Master’s degree in Economics or Management Engineering.

You have demonstrated interest in the field through academic coursework, university projects or case studies related to Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Previous internship or work experience is a plus if relevant, but not mandatory.

English (written and spoken) is essential for this role.

Functional & Technical Skills
  • You have a basic understanding of end‑to‑end logistics flows (inbound, outbound, intercompany) and are curious about how companies collaborate with Freight Forwarders for transportation management
  • You are interested in KPI frameworks for logistics performance and want to learn how these translate into dashboards and operational analysis
  • You are comfortable using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to clean datasets, build simple analyses (lookups, pivots, basic charts), and create concise, executive‑ready slides for updates and reviews
  • You are familiar with—or motivated to learn—SAP environments (e.g., S/4HANA) and logistics modules such as Transportation Management (TM) to understand order‑to‑cash flows, track & trace and freight settlement basics.
  • You’re excited to learn how a global logistics network is structured (e.g., consolidation hubs, domestic distribution centers, plant warehouses) and how 3PLs operate within it.
  • You work effectively with teams and partners to support data collection, documentation, and improvements, allowing more focus on strategic projects.
