Job summary

World Food Programme is seeking a Business Innovation Consultant to support BIU/UNAA priorities, engage with senior leadership, and help drive UN Reform/UN80 initiatives. The role requires strong analytical ability, Excel-based analysis, and excellent written communication across diverse teams.

The assignment is based in Rome, Italy and Munich, Germany, with a duration of 6–11 months, and a focus on delivering end-to-end innovation and change management within the UN system.

Qualifications

• 2 years of progressively responsible national and/or international experience in a business or international relations related position.
• Experience in management consulting or innovative finance is required.
• Knowledge of optimization processes and data analysis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute BIU/UNAA priorities and support senior leadership on prioritization.
• Provide analytical and project management support and coordinate with initiative owners.
• Support UN Reform/UN80 implementation and cross-CO knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to knowledge management reviews and best practices sharing.
