Job summary

thyssenkrupp nucera Italy is seeking an experienced Local Procurement professional to buy equipment and materials for engineering projects in Milano. You will work with international suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, negotiate terms, and support the development of company-wide framework agreements.

The role requires about 8 years of purchasing experience, fluency in English and Italian (B2), and strong ERP skills (SAP or MS Dynamics) along with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional purchasing experience, preferably in engineering projects
• Proficient in English and Italian (B2)
• Experience with ERP systems SAP or MS Dynamics
• Strong ability to present complex issues clearly and work in international teams

Responsibilities

• Place purchase orders aligned with requisitions and project requirements
• Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, Incoterms, and payment conditions
• Communicate with suppliers and manage contractual disruptions
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality, Service and Logistics
• Monitor supplier performance and support framework agreements
• Manage call-off orders and contribute to company-wide framework agreements
