Tenova S.p.A., a Techint Group company, is seeking a Procurement professional to join the Supply Chain team in Castellanza (Lombardy) for a 12-month assignment. You will manage procurement activities, from receiving requests to supplier selection and contract alignment, within a international environment.

The ideal candidate holds an engineering degree or equivalent, has experience as a Buyer in engineering or industrial sectors, and is proficient with MS Office and SAP, with good English skills

Formación

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent (through experience acceptable)
• Proven experience as Buyer in the Engineering or Industrial sector is a plus
• Ability to conduct market analysis collecting information on suppliers, markets and pricing
• Knowledge of MS Office and SAP and strong data-handling skills
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time-management abilities

Responsabilidades

• Receive the Purchase Request with Drawings/DB/Technical Specifications and analyze the technical contents
• Select Suppliers to be involved through the contract Vendor List, and/or add any other qualified suppliers after scouting
• Manage the RFQ/Inquiries and the bidding process
• Receive offers from Suppliers verifying compliance with requirements and coordinate with Technical Department
• Request quotations to suppliers for alternative technical solutions when possible
• Invite selected Suppliers to negotiate and draft the negotiation report
• Prepare tabulations comparing commercial conditions with project targets and historical data
• Prepare the order and awarding memorandum following company procedures and including necessary clauses to minimize risk
• Handle the receipt of order confirmations; address supplier claims per instructions from Line Manager and Project Manager
