Job summary

W Talent in Veneto is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to lead direct procurement strategies for a global manufacturing group. You will develop and execute commodity plans, manage supplier relationships, and deliver cost, performance, and supply continuity improvements across sites.

This senior role requires 5+ years in direct materials procurement, strong commercial and negotiation skills, and the ability to work across functions and international teams. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' procurement experience in direct materials for manufacturing.
• Experience in multinational or matrix organisations.
• Strong commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global commodity strategies for direct materials.
• Lead end-to-end sourcing: RFx, negotiation, contracting.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Drive cost reduction and value creation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality and Supply Chain.
• Ensure sustainability, compliance and ethical sourcing.
• Contribute to budget planning and longer-term strategies.
