Datalogic, based at Monte San Pietro (BO) near Bologna, seeks a leader to head Global Indirect Materials Purchasing, shaping strategy and driving collaboration across functions to optimize the purchasing process. You will define the global purchasing strategy and lead the indirect procurement team to ensure cost-effective performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in Business/Economics/Statistics, fluent Italian and English, and 10+ years in Purchasing with 5+ years in leadership

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics or related fields.
• Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal communication.
• 10 years purchasing experience and minimum 5 years in leadership in multinationals.

• Maintains in-depth market knowledge to propose direction and highlight supply risks.
• Designs and improves policies and procedures of purchasing processes.
• Aligns and deploys strategy, policies and procedures for indirect procurement with internal stakeholders.
• Forecasts ongoing demand for goods/services and proposes purchase sources.
• Manages relationships with internal strategic stakeholders to ensure proactive involvement.
• Supports business owners in managing relationships with external stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement.
