Job summary

Kuoni Tumlare is seeking a Destination Services Procurement Lead to source, contract and manage services across multiple destinations. You will own supplier relations, optimize costs, and lead a three-person team to deliver reliable and cost-efficient services.

You will oversee capacity planning, contract compliance, and performance monitoring while collaborating with Operations, Planning, Sales, and Customer Service. Travel up to 25% is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in contracting, procurement, operations, or supplier management in travel.
• Solid knowledge of destination services; experience with guides/attractions/entrance management is an advantage.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills with ability to build agreements at all levels.
• Ability to manage capacity, availability and operational constraints across multiple destinations.
• Well-developed analytical skills covering supplier performance, contract utilization and cost analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in English; ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Contract services in line with market plans, contracting guidelines and timelines.
• Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network across destinations.
• Ensure sufficient capacity to support series and ad hoc business; identify gaps and alternatives.
• Manage procurement and contractual arrangements; ensure alignment with procedures and conditions.
• Monitor supplier performance; address issues and implement corrective actions.
• Negotiate rates, payment terms, cancellation conditions, and other commercial terms.
• Identify alternative suppliers and contingency solutions for constrained destinations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Planning, Sales and Customer Service on supplier allocation and capacity planning.
• Coach and develop a team of three DS Procurement professionals; manage workload and priorities.
• Travel up to 25%.
