Wabtec is seeking a Project Buyer in Italy to lead sourcing activities across project lifecycles, ensuring QCD performance and profitability. You will launch RFQs, negotiate terms, and manage supplier changes in Oracle ERP while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role involves travel and hybrid work, with a permanent full-time contract. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Sourcing or Project Purchasing, strong negotiation and cost-analysis skills, and fluency in English and Italian.

Competenze

• Technical diploma or Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing, Project Purchasing or Project Management.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and cost analysis skills.
• Fluent in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.

Mansioni

• Launch RFQs and feasibility analysis, negotiate terms and select suppliers.
• Drive project profitability by challenging BOMs and cost proposals.
• Ensure supplier QCD performance with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in project reviews, audits, reporting and governance.
• When global project buyer, consolidate performance across sites and present to management.
