Datalogic is seeking a Global Commodity Manager Electronics to lead a team of buyers and shape the global electronics commodity strategy from Argelato, Emilia-Romagna, IT. You will drive cost, quality, and delivery performance while aligning with R&D and other functions.

You will manage supplier relationships, set targets, and implement new technologies, reporting to the Head of Global Direct Commodity Management in a multinational environment.

Competenze

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
Fluent Italian and English; written and verbal communication.
4–8 years in a similar role.
Solid knowledge of electronics components.
Ability to interact technically with R&D team.
Capability to define and implement commodity strategies.
Knowledge of electronic semiconductors market.
Contract and supplier agreements experience.
Excellent Excel & reporting skills.
Leadership in an international environment.
SAP knowledge is a plus.

Job Description

Datalogic is offering a Global Commodity Manager Electronics role, reporting to the Head of Global Direct Commodity Management. This role will direct the procurement function to ensure an uninterrupted supply at optimum cost, and within the policies and guidelines established by management. Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the Electronics Commodity.

This position will be based at Monte San Pietro (BO).

Role Mission

The Global Commodity Manager Electronics leads a team of Commodity Buyers within the assigned commodity.

He/She creates and implements global commodity strategy.

Responsible for cost, quality and delivery performance of the assigned commodity.

Manage supplier relationships.

Ensure global implementation of commodity strategy
