Exide Technologies is seeking a BESS System Engineer to design and integrate electrical systems for power-conversion and grid-connected projects. You will lead MV system design, protection concepts, and interconnection studies while supporting proposals and execution with cross-functional teams.

The role requires an Engineering degree (Electrical/Electronic), 2+ years of relevant experience, and fluent English. Occasional travel may be required; multinational environment offered.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.

Mansioni

• Lead power conversion and grid-integration topics, including MV interfaces and studies.
• Develop and validate electrical system architecture with sizing and interconnection.
• Lead MV BoP electrical design (MV stations, transformers, switchgear, protection).
• Prepare single-line diagrams, protection concepts, cable sizing, and equipment specs.
• Ensure electrical safety, protection principles, and compliance across design and implementation.
• Support tenders, technical proposals, and project execution with multi-disciplinary teams.
