Freudenberg Sealing Technologies in Italy (Pinerolo) is seeking an Accounting Specialist to manage general ledger, journal entries, and closing activities. You will ensure IFRS and local GAAP compliance, maintain master data, and support VAT and tax requirements while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2–3 years in accounting, a Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel skills. English fluency is essential; international travel (~10%) is expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles; IFRS knowledge is a plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Excellent proficiency in English.
• Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving, team-oriented, willing to travel internationally (approx. 10%).

Accounting Specialist (f/m/d)

Responsibilities

• General Ledger Accounting
• Manage daily GL activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and foreign exchange related transactions.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP requirements.
• Support the maintenance and consistency of financial master data and accounting structures.
• Tax & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, withholding taxes, and other local tax requirements.
• Manage Confirmation of Arrivals (CoA), and EU reporting requirements where applicable.
• Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities.
• Closing & Reporting
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation required.
• Treasury & Payments
• Execute manual and mass payment runs.
• Support cash reporting and treasury-related activities.
• Audit Support
• Support internal and external audits.
• Prepare audit documentation and ensure timely responses to auditors.
  
  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar roles.
• Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.
• Languages: Excellent proficiency in English.
