Freudenberg Group in Italy is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to manage daily GL activities, including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and FX-related transactions. You will ensure IFRS and Local GAAP compliance and maintain financial master data.

The role requires 2–3 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, and SAP knowledge, with excellent English. In this position, you may support VAT and EU reporting, month-end close, and audit preparation, with

Competenze

• > Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.
• <> 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar.
• <> Strong understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is a plus.
• <> Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities:

General Ledger Accounting

• Manage daily GL activities including journal entries, accruals, provisions, reversals, payroll postings, and foreign exchange related transactions.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records in accordance with IFRS and Local GAAP requirements.

• Support the maintenance and consistency of financial master data and accounting structures.

Tax & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with VAT regulations, withholding taxes, and other local tax requirements.

• Manage Confirmation of Arrivals (CoA), and EU reporting requirements where applicable.

• Support statutory and regulatory compliance activities.

Closing & Reporting

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities.

• Prepare financial reports and supporting documentation required.

Treasury & Payments

• Execute manual and mass payment runs.

• Support cash reporting and treasury-related activities.

Audit Support

• Support internal and external audits.

• Prepare audit documentation and ensure timely responses to auditors.

Qualifications:

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent; advanced degree is a plus.

• Experience : 2–3 years of experience in accounting roles, R2R or similar roles.

• Accounting Knowledge : Strong understanding of accounting principles; familiarity with IFRS is considered a plus.

• Technical Skills : Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; SAP knowledge preferred.

• Languages : Excellent proficiency in English.

• Personal Attributes : Proactive mindset, strong problem‑solving attitude, team‑oriented approach, flexibility, and willingness to travel internationally (approx.10%).
