Ephos is seeking an Etching Engineer to own and optimize glass etching processes, bridging R&D and mass production. You will ensure optical, structural, and cosmetic standards while maximizing yield and throughput.

You will lead DoE studies, coordinate with vendors on baths, sprays, or plasma/laser parameters, and drive process improvements in a fast-moving environment. Remote work is not available.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a technical field (Physics, Chem Eng, Materials Science, etc.).
• 3+ years hands-on process engineering in glass panel manufacturing or related display/semiconductor tech.
• Experience with glass etching processes (wet, dry, plasma) and DoE/FMEA knowledge.

Mansioni

• Lead development, qualification, and continuous improvement of glass etching processes to meet specs.
• Monitor process performance using SPC and identify root causes of defects.
• Collaborate with vendors to optimize etching baths, spray systems, or plasma/laser parameters.
• DoE to improve process windows and reduce cycle times.
• Maintain safety and environmental protocols for hazardous etchants (HF, acids, gases).
• Assist R&D to transition designs into production.
