Job summary

SDG Group Italy is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and deploy cloud architectures, primarily on GCP, with growth into AWS or Azure. You will implement IaC, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools to ensure scalable, secure data platforms and efficient deployment.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes, plus strong English communication for global teams. Hybrid work options in Milan, Florence or Verona are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent training.
• +2 years of experience in managing infrastructures in GCP environments and development in Python.
• Experience with Terraform and CI/CD applied to deployment and data pipelines.
• Containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Google Cloud IAM, RBAC and Secret Manager for security.

Responsibilities

• Design and deployment of cloud infrastructures, mainly GCP, with future multi-cloud expansion.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code scripts and templates to automate deployments.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines for efficient and reliable delivery of data platforms.
• Implement GitOps processes and write automation scripts (Python/bash).
• Stay up-to-date with cloud best practices and security governance.
