Job summary

Lexroom is hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer in Milan, a hybrid, full-time role responsible for owning the cloud platform across Europe. You will design, build, and optimize scalable, secure infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform, manage Terraform-based IaC, and drive CI/CD and observability to support rapid product growth.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, SRE, Backend Engineering, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient with infrastructure-as-code using Terraform.
• Production experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, CircleCI, Jenkins).
• Automation scripting with Python or Bash.
• Working knowledge of cloud networking, security, and cost management.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform with focus on scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Own infrastructure-as-code setup (Terraform) and keep environments reproducible and auditable.
• Manage and optimize serverless architectures and deployment workflows.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines and observability across the stack.
• Strengthen security and GDPR/ISO 27001-aligned compliance by default.
• Design disaster recovery and business continuity plans and implementations.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to support new features with the right infrastructure.
