Since 1994, we have supported half of the IBEX-35 companies and some of the world’s leading companies in their digital transformation, turning data into high-impact solutions thanks to our strategic alliances with Microsoft, Google, and AWS, as well as the best technology accelerators on the market.

Our Data Technologies team is the epicenter where challenging projects and disruptive solutions come to fruition. We work across multiple sectors with clients, always at the forefront of technology, combining innovation, expertise, and true autonomy.

We design architectures that set standards and create accelerators that transform. We don’t just execute projects; we develop accelerators, artifacts, and proofs of concept. Here, you’ll not only present projects, but also develop innovative use cases, collaborate with top-tier experts, and position SDG as a leader in the field.

What will your day-to-day life be like?
  • Design and deployment of cloud infrastructures: Mainly in GCP but gradually also in any of the public clouds (AWS, Azure…) to support the Artificial Intelligence and Data Technologies teams of SDG Group, guaranteeing scalability, security and operational efficiency.
  • Deployment Automation : Develop Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) scripts and templates using tools like Terraform, Deployment Manager, or AWS CloudFormation to automate the deployment of cloud resources. Use Ansible to automate the provisioning and management of cloud resources.
  • Cloud architecture evaluation and optimization : Continuous review of existing architectures to improve performance, cost, reliability and alignment with business needs.
  • Implement GitOps processes : To automate the deployment and management of infrastructures.
  • Script development : Writing scripts (e.g., using Python or bash) to automate repetitive tasks and manage infrastructure.
  • Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Configure CI/CD pipelines to ensure that infrastructure changes are deployed efficiently and with minimal disruption.
  • Stay up-to-date : With best practices and technological advances in cloud services.
What will make you succeed in this position?
  • Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications or equivalent training. Higher Vocational Training in Systems Administration or Application Development.
  • +2 years of experience in management of infrastructures in GCP cloud environments (AWS and/or Azure are welcome as additional skills) and development in python.
  • Experience in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Deployment Manager) and CI/CD, applied to the deployment and maintenance of pipelines and data platforms, guaranteeing agile and reliable deliveries.
  • Containerization and Orchestration: Experience with Docker for application containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration, deployment and operation of scalable and resilient data infrastructures.
  • GCP Security & Governance: Expertise in Google Cloud IAM, RBAC, and Secret Manager to secure cloud environments, implement Zero Trust principles, and enforce data compliance.
  • Container Registry & Artifacts: Experience with Google Artifact Registry to support containerised applications and workloads.
  • Observability & Operations: Experience setting up Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting to track infrastructure performance, manage alerts, and optimise cloud expenditure.
  • That you can communicate in English to work in global environments and collaborate with international teams.

We also value:

  • Consulting mindset: Customer focus, problem-solving and ability to work in dynamic environments.
  • Experience in programming for data integration, with knowledge of relevant frameworks and tools.
What we offer
  • Salary range: 28.000€ - 34.000€. The final placement within this range will be determined based on technical skills, specific role experience, and the outcomes of the selection process, according to objective and predefined criteria. • Work Mode: Hybrid from one of our offices: Milan, Florence, or Verona.
