Leonardo in Torino seeks a Junior contracts professional to manage bids and contracts with a wide customer base and to lead the commercial elements for Life Cycle Management and Bid Approval.

You will support line managers by preparing quotations and detailed agreements including Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, and Service Level Agreements. This role offers a pathway for growth within a global aerospace context.

• Previous experience in a commercial, contracts role.
• Experience in contract renewals and amendments.
• Support to negotiation planning and strategies.
• Customer and stakeholder relationship management skills.
• Understanding of resource and budget management.
• Governance experience.

Mansioni

• Management and administration of bids and contracts with a wide customer base; lead in provision of commercial elements for life cycle management and bid approval.

Job Description:

Leonardo is one of the strategic industrial partners - together with British BAE Systems and Japanese Mitsubishi Heavy Industries – in the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), aimed at the development and production of a next-generation air system, defined as a ‘system of systems’. Used for multi-domain defence operations, the system is characterised by a ‘core platform’ connected with other piloted and uncrewed peripheral adjunct systems.

The programme, one of the most challenging and futuristic in the Aerospace and Defence industry, will lead the technological revolution that will shape the sector over the next fifty years. It is aimed at strengthening the technological and industrial sovereignty of the involved countries, because it focuses on identifying and making available innovative enabling technologies that will ensure the generational leap, producing positive returns, as well as economic and social progress for the partners’ countries, benefitting the new generations.

Accountabilities include:

• Management and administration of bids and contracts with a wide customer base. Lead in the provision of Commercial elements for the Life Cycle Management and for Bid Approval process.
• Support line managers, by taking responsibility for the preparation of quotations and detailed Agreements including but not limited to Purchase Orders, Enabling Agreements, Technical Assistance Agreements, Service Level Agreements.
• It is recommended to include a list of specific and detailed technical knowledge and competencies - including information technology skills and soft skills, if and when necessary)
