Qascom is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join its team in Padua, Veneto, Italy, contributing to design, development, testing and deployment of high-end software for space missions.

The role focuses on distributed data collection, storage and visualization, with emphasis on system-level activities, documentation per ESA/ECSS standards, and production deployments of RAG architectures and LLMs. Strong Linux, web app, and security knowledge are expected.

Competenze

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Engineering.
• Production-grade experience with complex applications deployed in production, ideally under SLA.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Containerization with Docker; Kubernetes experience preferred.
• Web application development and deployment knowledge.
• Familiarity with security principles and OO design patterns.

Mansioni

• Design, develop, test and deploy distributed systems for data collection, storage and visualization.
• Engage in system-level activities including requirements analysis and software design and development.
• Create technical documentation aligned with ESA/ECSS, GSWS, ETSI standards.
• Implement and deploy RAG systems and fine-tuned LLMs in production.
• Maintain production systems focusing on availability per SLA.
• Manage system infrastructure and DevOps activities including monitoring and troubleshooting.
