Job summary

Deltatre S.p.A. is seeking a Front-End Lead Engineer to drive high-quality, scalable front-end solutions while staying hands-on with code. You will shape architecture, set standards across delivery teams, and act as the main technical contact for stakeholders.

You will mentor engineers, lead technical discussions, and collaborate with Product Owners and Directors to deliver robust, user-focused applications for live and on-demand sports experiences.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Strong React.js knowledge and core principles.
• Experience with Node.js, Next.js, SSR/CSR concepts.
• Tailwind CSS for responsive UI development.
• Expertise in front-end testing with Jest.
• Ability to design scalable front-end architecture and patterns.
• Strong Git proficiency and code review discipline.
• Experience mentoring engineers and guiding architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-end engineering across projects ensuring scalable, secure, high-performance, accessible solutions.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate and estimate front-end work with emphasis on architecture and technical risk.
• Review code quality and enforce standards and performance benchmarks.
• Mentor and grow the engineering team and contribute to recruitment.
