Job summary

Veliu, Milan-based, is seeking a talented data engineer and ML practitioner to lead data pipelines and AI-driven projects that power our platform for retailers, consumers, and buyers. This role focuses on production-grade workflows affecting pricing, risk management, and catalog management.

You will work with Python, SQL, Spark, and modern ML frameworks, applying NLP and CV techniques to real-world, sustainability-oriented products.

Qualifications

• Experience building data pipelines and ML models for production systems.
• Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills.
• Familiarity with fintech, sustainability, and circular economy domains.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to collect, clean, and transform large volumes of data.
• Develop, train, and deploy AI/ML models for pricing, risk management, and catalog management.
• Experiment and validate model performance for robust production deployment.
• Apply NLP or computer vision techniques to enhance product features.
