Apex Analytica Ltd. is seeking an experienced Foreign Policy Specialist to join as a freelance contributor. You will monitor EU foreign policy, trade policy, and international relations.

You will deliver actionable insights to help multinational clients navigate evolving geopolitics. Based in Italy or an EU capital, you will build strong networks with policymakers and policy circles, translate complex developments into business implications, and provide timely strategic briefings.

Competenze

• Strong expertise in foreign policy and/or trade policy.
• Established network in EU foreign policy and trade policy circles (Brussels, Rome, etc.).
• Based in Italy or another EU capital with ability to engage policymakers regularly.
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex geopolitical developments into clear business implications.
• Professional fluency in English; Italian and/or additional EU languages are a strong plus.

We are currently seeking an experienced Foreign Policy Specialist to join our growing team as freelance contributor.

About the Role

As a freelance Foreign Policy Specialist, you will provide strategic and tactical advice on evolving developments in EU foreign policy, trade policy, and international relations. You will monitor policy shifts, assess their impact on business interests, and deliver actionable insights that help our clients make informed decisions in dynamic global environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and analyze developments in EU foreign policy and trade policy
• Deliver timely strategic and tactical briefings for corporate clients
• Leverage and expand networks within EU institutions, member state governments, and relevant policy circles
• Support business development initiatives by identifying opportunities arising from policy changes
• Contribute to high-quality advisory reports, client presentations, and thought leadership content

What You Bring

• Strong expertise in foreign policy and/or trade policy, ideally with direct experience in EU affairs
• Established network in EU foreign policy and trade policy circles (Brussels, Rome, and other EU capitals highly valued)
• Based in Italy or another EU capital with the ability to engage regularly with policymakers and stakeholders
• Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
• Ability to translate complex geopolitical developments into clear business implications
• Professional fluency in English; Italian and/or additional EU languages are a strong plus
