Cattaneo Zanetto Pomposo & Co. in Rome seeks an Analyst Intern to support professionals by monitoring legislative, regulatory and policy activity at major Italian government bodies and regional authorities.

You will develop analysis reports, memos and position papers for Clients, under supervision of the Director heading the practice. This is a paid internship with a monthly allowance of €800, and there is a full-time employment opportunity after the internship.

Competenze

• Excellent academic background in Law, Economics or Political Science.
• Fluent English and Italian required; ability to translate between business and politics.
• Knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level is essential.

Mansioni

• Monitor legislative, regulatory and policy activity at major Italian bodies and regional authorities.
• Develop analysis reports, memos and position papers for Clients under supervision.

The Analyst will support the professionals of the firm in monitoring the legislative, regulatory and policy activity in the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, as well as in the most relevant regions in Italy. The Analyst will develop analysis reports, memos and position papers aimed at the Clients of the firm, together with his/her supervisor. The Analyst will work together with the Director heading the practice within the firm.

This is a paid internship position with a monthly allowance of €800, with full-time employment opportunity.

Requirements include:

• Excellent academic background. Law, Economics or Political Science degrees required;
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
• Fluent English (strictly required) as well as fluent Italian;
• Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level;
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional, to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
