Public Affairs Advisors seeks a Junior Consultant to monitor legislative and regulatory activity in Italy and produce analysis reports, memos, and position papers for clients. The role involves collaboration with senior staff and gradually taking on independent tasks on selected projects.

Requirements include 1+ year in Public Policy or Government Affairs, a degree in Law/Economics/Political Science, fluency in English and Italian, and knowledge of regulatory processes at the Italian level; EU

Competenze

• At least 1 year of professional experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations.
• Strong academic background, with a degree in Law, Economics or Political Science.
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage.
• Fluent English (min. B2/C1) and fluent Italian.
• Ability to translate between business and politics languages.
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level.
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is an advantage.

The Junior Consultant will support the firm in monitoring the legislative, regulatory and policy activity in the main Italian government bodies and regulatory authorities, as well as in the most relevant regions in Italy. The Junior Consultant will develop analysis reports, memos and position papers aimed at the Clients of the firm, together with his/her supervisor. Will work together with the Consultant and Senior Consultant, heading the practice within the firm , gradually taking on independent consulting tasks—either partially or fully—on certain projects.

Requirements include:

• At least 1 year of professional experience in Public Policy or Government Affairs roles at consulting firms, corporations or trade associations in particular on Energy sector;
• Strong academic background, with a degree in Law, Economics or Political Science;
• Public Affairs specialization is a further advantage;
• Fluent English (strictly required, min. level B2/C1) as well as fluent Italian;
• Ability to translate between the specialist languages of business and politics;
• Detailed knowledge of regulatory and legislative processes at Italian level;
• Knowledge of EU regulatory and legislative processes is a further advantage.

The role requires analytical skills, ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person, ability to work as a professional. It also requires the ability to meet strict deadlines and possibly work under pressure.
