Diadora is seeking an experienced Footwear Engineer to bridge Design, Product Development and Production. You will work across the Operations team to turn concepts into scalable, high-performance footwear that meets cost and quality targets.

You will verify prototypes, coordinate with global suppliers, validate tech packs, and apply Value Engineering to optimize material use while maintaining quality. Willingness to travel to production sites is required.

Competenze

At least 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the sports industry.
Deep knowledge of footwear manufacturing processes and pattern-making techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel) and familiarity with PLM systems.
Native Italian speaker with intermediate/advanced English for daily international interaction.
Willingness to travel about 7–8 business trips per year to Far East partners.

Mansioni

Serve as the technical bridge between Design, Product Development and Production.
Verificate prototypes, analyze last, construction, functionality and aesthetics.
Coordinate with Far East teams and suppliers on industrialization.
Validate technical packs/spec sheets for production.
Apply Value Engineering to optimize material use and costs.
Support quality and field testing on finished products and customization projects.
