Ideal candidates have a degree in Food Science, 3+ years in food quality management, and strong leadership to drive continuous improvement and audits.

Competenze

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in food quality management in a production environment.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC/IFS standards and EU Regulation 852/2004.
• Internal auditor certification.
• Fluent Italian and good English.

Mansioni

• Manage and continuously improve the HACCP system across all production lines.
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external certification audits (BRC, IFS).
• Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and implement corrective actions.
• Train production staff on food safety and hygiene standards.
• Liaise with suppliers on raw material specifications and incoming quality checks.

A fast-growing company in the sustainable food industry is seeking a Food Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance processes across two production facilities. You will ensure compliance with EU food safety regulations, manage HACCP protocols and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

This role is central to delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality plant-based products to consumers across Europe.

Responsibilities

• Manage and continuously improve the HACCP system across all production lines
• Conduct internal audits and prepare for external certification audits (BRC, IFS)
• Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and implement corrective actions
• Train production staff on food safety and hygiene standards
• Liaise with suppliers on raw material specifications and incoming quality checks
• Report quality KPIs to senior management monthly

Must-have Requirements

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in food quality management in a production environment
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, BRC/IFS standards and EU Regulation 852/2004
• Internal auditor certification
