Job summary

Rizzi Group in Italy seeks a results-driven Head of Quality Management to lead a three-person team and advance our quality processes.

You will drive certifications (IFS, Organic, GlobalG.A.P.) and ensure compliance across products, suppliers, and internal workflows.

Qualifications

  • Completed vocational training, upper secondary school diploma or university degree in food science, agriculture, food technology or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management in the food industry.
  • Sound knowledge of food safety, quality management, product specifications and food labelling law.
  • Experience with certification standards such as IFS, GlobalG.A.P. and Organic is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Technical and organisational leadership and further development of the existing team.
  • Overall responsibility for maintaining, managing and continuously developing the quality management system.
  • Supporting certifications and audits, in particular IFS, Organic and GlobalG.A.P.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, customer-specific and internal quality requirements.
  • Planning and conducting supplier visits, supplier evaluations and quality inspections.
  • Close collaboration with purchasing, sales, suppliers, production partners and customers on all quality-related matters.
  • Prioritising tasks within the team and ensuring they are completed in a structure and timely manner.
  • Supporting your team in quality management and quality assurance.

In this key position, you will be responsible for the technical and organisational leadership of our three-person quality management team. You will drive the further development of our quality processes and, together with your team, ensure that our products, suppliers and internal processes meet the high standards of our customers and the food industry.

Your Responsibilities
