Job summary

Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (NCLH) is seeking a qualified accountant to strengthen our finance team supporting EMEA operations. This role focuses on statutory reporting, VAT and corporation tax, and coordination with local advisors, auditors and authorities.

You will manage monthly reconciliations, support payroll, corporate secretarial matters, and help drive improved processes across a multinational organisation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance.
• Qualified accountant desirable.
• Experience with UK/Europe financial reporting.
• VAT & Corporation tax knowledge.
• Experience in a multinational company.
• Demonstrable career progression.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and meet statutory and other non-financial reporting obligations within EMEA.
• Manage and deliver all tax related obligations, including corporation tax, VAT & withholding tax, coordinating with local advisors, auditors and inspectors as required.
• Prepare and manage the monthly reconciliations for all accounts of a tax and statutory related nature.
• Support payroll preparation and review.
• Support company secretarial matters and compliance of local laws and regulations.
• Lead on accounting standards and other reporting requirements, including upcoming developments.
• Support the development of standard processes & practices and identify opportunities to streamline and drive continuous improvement initiatives and document local processes and procedures.
• Build strong, effective relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Perform other job-related functions and special projects, as required.

TASKS

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Accounting & Finance

EXPERIENCE

• Qualified accountant desirable
• Technically strong with financial reporting experience across UK and/or Europe
• VAT & Corporation tax knowledge and practical experience
• Practical experience within a multi-national company preferred
• Demonstrable career progression
