Job summary

EPTA GROUP is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist in Limana (BL), Italy. The role supports the FP&A Coordinator and local managers through detailed analyses and reporting to drive profitability and cost improvements.

You will prepare data for management decisions, assist with audits and cash controls, and contribute to variance analysis and capex reviews. Minimum 5+ years in controlling, with an international exposure preferred; required English, with Italian a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in controlling; preferably experience in an international work environment.
• Educational background: High School in Economics or Bachelor Degree.

Responsibilities

• Utilize planning and control systems to deliver timely management accounts.
• Support programming and quarterly forecasts processes with relevant information for management.
• Prepare data for ad-hoc analyses and management decision-making to improve performance.
• Assist in financial auditing, risk analysis and cash control with a culture of compliance.

Job description

Position: Financial Planning & Analysis Specialist

Job Purpose: The FP&A Specialist support the FP&A Coordinator and all the local Managers in decision making process, throught relevant analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Utilize Planning and Control systems and processes to deliver timely and accurate management accounts to support internal decision-making, with a focus on profitability, working capital, cost reduction.


• Support Programming and quarterly Forecasts processes, providing relevant information to the management.


• Prepare data for management’s decision making process in preparing ad-hoc analysis. Uses data to advise management on decisions for performance improvements, risk or opportunities Management.


• Prepare data for the financial auditing, risk analysis and cash control ensuring a culture of compliance.


• Prepare a complete Reporting set analyzing variances between planned and actual on: Contribution Margins, Industrial Operations, Structure costs. Prepares variance explanations and commentaries.


• Capex analysis preparation.


• Give support to analyze results in the area of: investment, sourcing, cost reduction, operation’s performance etc. Is able to communicate with all areas of the enterprise including operations, purchasing, r&d and accounting.


• Support an effective and advantageous relationship with Corporate, giving timely answers and proposing value added improvements.

Technical Skills:

• Financial Risk Management: Can guarantee, analyze and manage the variables and financial risks related to company operations in order to minimize the costs (risk) for the Group.


• Control Model, Cost Accounting and Industrial Model Design: Can utilize control systems and tools for the analysis in order to monitor and represent all the events to support the management in taking the right decisions.


• Big Data Analytics: Can build analytics systems and translate the gathered information in solutions for the business development.


• Business Advisory, Management Accounting and Reporting: Can support in finding the new business opportunities carrying out economic/financial evaluations of business initiatives/investment in order to improve the value creation for the Group.


• Planning Programming and Forecasting: Can support the Group in the processes of business plan for the short and long term and evaluate the results underline the variances between the plan and the post (KPI and reporting).


• Language: English mandatory, second language is a plus.

Professional Experience:

5+ years of experience in controlling; preferably experience in International work environment.

Compensation & Benefits

• CCNL level: B2


• Range salary: € 40.000,00 - € 45.500,00
