Job summary

Sosteneo Infrastructure Partners seeks a Financial Controller to join its Milan-based team starting from January 2027. This hands-on role supports financial monitoring, reporting, and compliance for portfolio assets, collaborating with internal teams and external providers to ensure accurate financial information.

The position offers exposure to infrastructure finance within the renewable energy sector, reporting to the Finance Director and part of the CCNL Credito.

Qualifications

• Six to eight years of relevant experience in financial reporting, management accounting, and audit support.
• Experience working with external service providers.
• Broad accounting experience, ideally in financial services or portfolio asset management.
• Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and outsourced providers.
• Ability to deliver accurate and timely analysis.
• CA, CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review reporting packs and workpapers from external providers for completeness and accuracy.
• Monitor adherence to group policies and escalate exceptions.
• Contribute to budgets and forecasts; review assumptions with the team.
• Prepare variance analyses and senior management commentary.
