Job summary

Tenova is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Administration, Finance & Control team in Castellanza. You will support managerial reporting, budgeting and cash flow analysis and drive improvements in reporting tools and processes.

The ideal candidate holds a master's degree in economics/related fields, with strong Excel skills and experience in ERP/reporting tools. Fluency in English is required; a hybrid working model is offered.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related disciplines.
• Experience in a similar role within EPC/EPCM or Big Four is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a result-driven approach.
• Advanced Excel skills with Power Query and VBA.
• Experience with reporting and ERP tools like Power BI, SAC, SAP BPC, S/4HANA FI/CO.
• Interest in digital transformation and AI tools for analytics.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support Group Controlling Team in managerial reporting (Actuals, Budget, Forecasts, Cash Flow).
• Provide ad-hoc analysis, simulations and reports to management.
• Promote tools and solutions to improve reporting efficiency.

Your role in Tenova: Financial Controller

Description: We are looking for a motivated professional to join our Administration, Finance & Control department. The successful candidate will be part of the Group Controlling Team and will support managerial reporting and business analysis activities, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial information to management.

You will carry on the following activities:

• Supporting the Group Controlling Team in preparing Managerial Reporting (Actuals, Budget, Forecasts and Cash Flow)
• Providing ad-hoc analysis, simulations and reports required by Company Management to support decision-making and risk management
• Promoting the adoption of tools and solutions aimed at improving the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes
• Working with IT department and external consultants to enhance and develop standard reporting tools and processes;

What we ask for:

• Master's Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or related disciplines
• Experience in a similar role within a structured EPC/EPCM company or in a Big Four audit firm will be considered a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a result-driven approach
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential with proficiency in tools such as Power Query, VBA or similar solutions
• Previous experience with reporting and ERP solutions such as Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BPC and SAP S/4HANA (FI and CO modules) will be considered a plus
• Interest in digital transformation and practical experience with AI and Generative AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, AI-enabled analytics solutions) to enhance reporting, analysis and process efficiency
• Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken); additional languages will be considered an asset
• Accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 35.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate’s seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
