Job summary

CATL in Milano is looking for a senior finance professional to lead tax, accounting, and financial reporting within our Italy entity. You will manage month-end closes, budgets, and collaborate with auditors, IT, and external consultants. The role requires strong English, Italian, and Chinese language skills, deep knowledge of Italian tax system, Italian GAAP and IFRS, and a proactive mindset to drive improvements across finance operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in finance or accounting.
• 8+ years of experience in finance or accounting in Italy.
• Familiar with Italian Fiscal & Tax system, Italian GAAP and IFRS; China GAAP preferred.
• Excellent English; Italian and Chinese preferred.
• Strong communication, high responsibility, quick learner.

Responsibilities

• Tax compliance and coordination with external consultants and authorities.
• Month-end close management, external audits, fact checks and discrepancy resolution.
• Expenses review and payment approvals.
• PL and CF budget/forecast preparation and management.
• Participate in financial projects and company initiatives.
• Maintain Fixed Assets Register and stock takes.
• Collaborate with IT on system optimization.
• Coordinate with banks and manage financial files, identify issues and implement solutions.

Responsibility：

1. Responsible for tax compliance.① Communicate with external consultants and tax authorities to complete tax returns and legally required compliance reports in a timely manner. ② Review local tax returns to ensure the accuracy and compliance of tax payments. ③ Assist with tax audits and other tax-related issues.
2. In charge of accounting and disclosure, responsible for month-end closing in time, assist with external audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies and etc.
3. Expenses review and analysis and payment approval process.
4. Responsible for PL and CF budget / forecast preparation and management.
5. Actively participate in financial projects and company-wide initiatives.
6. Maintain Fixed Assets Register and inventory stock take.
7. Collaborate with IT to complete system optimization.
8. Other financial work, including but not limited to coordinating with local banks, managing financial files, identifying and summarizing financial issues encountered in daily work, providing solutions, and implementing solutions afterward.

Requirements

1. Bachelor above, at least 8 years working experience in finance or accounting department in Italy
2. Must familiar with Italian Fiscal & Tax system and local practice, with Italian GAAP and IFRS , familiar with China GAAP is preferred;
3. Excellent English is must, Italian and Chinese will be preferred;
4. Have excellent communication skills, high sense of responsibility, strong learning ability and constantly improve working ability.
