Job summary

Hunters Group, on behalf of a leading packaging company, seeks an IT Functional Analyst – Finance to own the Finance ERP landscape across EMEA. You’ll translate business requirements into ERP solutions, drive UAT, and support the transition to Microsoft Dynamics 365 FCO across countries.

Fluency in English and Italian, willingness to be onsite in Milan 3 days/week, and the ability to coordinate with internal teams and external partners are essential.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of IT Functional Analyst experience with a strong Finance domain focus in a multi-country environment.
• Deep knowledge of core Finance processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Period-End Close, Statutory and Group Reporting.
• Experience with at least one ERP (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, JDE, AS/400) including configuration and functional design.
• Strong understanding of internal control frameworks, statutory accounting principles, and audit requirements.
• Proven ability to write functional specifications, lead UAT, and govern releases through structured change management.
• Fluent in English; working proficiency in Italian.
• Availability to be onsite in Milan 3 days/week and to travel across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance functional analysis and process design across GL, AP, AR, FA, Intercompany, and Closing reporting.
• Translate Finance requirements into ERP solutions and drive fit-gap analysis and to-be process docs.
• Collaborate with internal developers and external partners to manage enhancements and releases.
• Provide L2/L3 functional support for Finance apps across EMEA and coordinate incident resolutions.
• Support EMEA transition to Dynamics 365 FCO including data readiness and country localizations.
• Ensure governance and documentation for Finance/ERP processes and audits.
• Support user adoption, training, and stakeholder engagement across EMEA.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and data quality across Finance master data.
