Role Summary

The IT Functional Analyst – Finance is the IT reference point for EMEA Finance processes. The role owns functional analysis and process design across the full Finance value chain, translates business requirements into ERP solutions, and ensures operational continuity on legacy platforms while actively contributing to the design and rollout of Microsoft Dynamics 365 FCO. The candidate acts as a trusted partner to Group and Country Finance leaders, internal developers, and external implementation partners, guaranteeing scalability, internal control compliance, and adoption across EMEA countries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Finance Functional Analysis and Process Design Lead end-to-end functional analysis and process design across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, and Closing C Reporting; ensure design choices are scalable, usable, and compliant with internal control and statutory standards

  • Delivery and Vendor Coordination Collaborate with internal developers and external partners to manage enhancements, releases, and issue resolution on local Finance systems; review functional specifications, oversee testing, and ensure deployment quality

  • Microsoft Dynamics Transition Support Contribute to the EMEA transition to Microsoft Dynamics ERP: data and process readiness, template design alignment, country localization requirements, cutover planning, and hypercare for Finance scope
  • Internal Control, Compliance and Audit Ensure documentation and governance of Finance/ERP processes, including change requests, functional specifications, segregation-of-duties considerations, and audit-related evidence; act as functional counterpart for internal and external auditors
  • User Adoption, Training and Stakeholder Engagement Support user adoption and training activities for Finance users across EMEA countries; act as escalation point for complex functional issues, balancing local needs with regional standards; prepare materials and facilitate recurring State of Work sessions with Group and Country Finance leaders to track progress vs. roadmap, KPIs, risks/decisions, and follow-ups
  • Continuous Improvement and Data Quality Identify proactive and reactive improvement opportunities across Finance processes and supporting systems, building business cases when relevant; support data quality initiatives across Finance master data (Chart of Accounts, vendors, customers, fixed assets, cost centers), driving harmonization and remediation in line with the EMEA data strategy
