Job summary

W Rome is seeking a Finance Intern to learn in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment. You will support the Finance team with daily accounting and administrative tasks, gaining exposure to various areas of financial management.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields, with strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and good English. Italian language is a plus, and the internship will be based at W Rome in Rome, Italy.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good analytical and numerical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team spirit.
• Good command of English; Italian is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with invoice processing and filing.
• Verify financial documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Support month-end closing activities.
• Assist with revenue and expense tracking.
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets using Excel.
• Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure financial accuracy.
• Support ad hoc projects and administrative tasks within the Finance department.
