Job summary

Dentsu is hiring a Financial Control Director in Milan to oversee monthly financial reporting, ensure IFRS compliance and drive a major information systems transformation. You will coordinate with European and Global Controlling teams and manage the Dynamics 365 deployment and new reporting tools, aligning processes with J-SOX and group procedures.

The role requires ~10 years in finance, strong IFRS expertise, and fluent English; a degree with a professional accounting qualification is expected.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of professional experience, including audit firm and international company background.
• Excellent knowledge of IFRS standards.
• Fluent written and spoken English; approximately 30% of role conducted in English.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders and cross-team coordination.
• Experience influencing without direct reporting lines.
• Check financial information for accuracy and meet Group deadlines.
• Degree from Business/Engineering/Communication School or University with professional accounting qualification (DSCG/CA or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly reporting with the Reporting Financial Analyst; manage timetable and Group deadlines.
• Ensure IFRS, Group procedures and internal controls compliance; maintain quality and traceability of information.
• Coordinate external and internal audits; uphold high internal financial controls.
• Develop and monitor financial processes; obtain necessary approvals per Group procedures/J-SOX.
• Oversee working capital activities; coordinate improvement actions and validate forecasts.
• Manage finance-related systems transformation; coordinate with Dynamics 365 deployment and new reporting tools.
• Maintain communication with European and Global Controlling teams for continuous control improvements.
