Contents is seeking a Finance Analyst to strengthen our financial planning and analysis function, based in Milan. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing/reporting cycles, turning financial and operational data into insights that guide strategic decisions across the business.

You will build and maintain financial models (P&L, cash flow, scenarios), track SaaS metrics, and prepare management reporting for board materials.

Competenze

• 1–3 years FP&A or related analytical experience.
• Strong financial modeling and analytics with attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Advanced Excel; comfortable with large datasets.
• Fluent in English; Milan-based or willing to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the budgeting, forecasting, and monthly closing/reporting cycles
• Build and maintain financial models, including P&L, cash flow, and scenario analysis
• Track and analyze key SaaS metrics (ARR, MRR, churn, CAC, LTV, burn rate, and runway)
• Prepare management reporting and support the production of board and investor materials

• 1 – 3 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, consulting, audit, or a similar analytical role
• Proven ability to build and interpret financial models with strong attention to detail
• Solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel/spreadsheet skills; comfortable working with large datasets
• Familiarity with Salesforce
• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders
• Fluent in English (mandatory)
• Based in Milan or willing to relocate
