SYNERGY CONSTRUCT LLC in Verona, Italy is seeking a full-time Accountant for a construction project. The role focuses on managing project accounts in compliance with Italian standards and coordinating with external advisors.

The ideal candidate has a degree in Finance/Accounting, at least five years on international industrial/construction projects, SAP expertise, and fluent Italian and English. You will prepare invoices, monitor cash flow, perform cost analyses, and report monthly to HQ in

Competenze

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on international industrial/construction projects.
• Excellent knowledge of SAP software.
• Fluent in Italian and English (written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, mathematical skills and high attention to detail.

Mansioni

• Manage accounts for the construction project in accordance with Italian GAAP (OIC) and local regulations.
• Collaborate with external advisors (accountants, tax experts, payroll specialists).
• Verify invoices and invoice statements.
• Perform accounting duties throughout the project, including invoicing, cash flow estimation, and approving purchase orders.
• Analyze transactions and incorporate unforeseen costs into the budget.
• Maintain records of project finances for audits and tax purposes.
• Prepare cost analyses from project financial data and information.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers; perform regular reconciliations.
• Conduct monthly reports to the headquarters in Hungary.

We are looking for a full-time Accountant, for our construction project in Verona with the following qualifications to join our dynamic team.

As and experience we are looking for:

• University degree (BS/MS) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or relatedfiel dsor Certified Public Accountant qualification
• Minimum 5 years experience preferably on international industrial/construction projects.
• Self oriented, disciplined, and well organized.
• Excellent knowledge ofSAP software.
• Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
• Solid analytical and mathematical skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.

Job Description:

• Managing the accounts of related construction project in accordance with Italian GaaP Principi Contabili OIC in order to ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and standards
• Working closely with external advisors (fellow accountants, tax experts and payroll specialists)
• Ve rifyinginvoices andinvoice s tatements,
• Performing accounting duties throughout the project, such as preparing invoices, estimating cash flow, and signing off on purchase orders.
• Analyzing all transactions and working unforeseen costs into the budget.
• Keeping a record of all project finances for internal/external auditing and tax purposes.
• Preparing cost analyses by interpreting projects' financial data and information.
• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and suppliers and doing regular reconciliations
• Performing regular reconciliations of all vendor and GL account
• Preparing and submitting monthly reports to the headquarters in Hungary
