Job summary

Topcon Positioning Systems (Topcon) is seeking a skilled System Test Engineer for their facility in Concordia sulla Secchia, Italy. This role involves testing a full product line of Construction and Machine Control solutions, developing test plans, and supporting engineering R&D by evaluating machine performance.

Qualified candidates will have a strong troubleshooting background and relevant technical qualifications. The position offers a salary range of 40K–45K gross yearly, and some domestic and international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Prior product test/development experience is required.
• Understanding of GNSS and Machine Control theory is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work around construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop test plans for new product delivery schedules.
• Provide technical support to sales and customers.
• Evaluate machine performance to verify new hardware and firmware.

Skills

Knowledge of serial, ISO CAN, and machine communication

Excellent troubleshooting skills

Basic Microsoft Office skills

Ability to work with diverse backgrounds

Strong analytical skills

Education

Technical or Trade Qualifications in Construction, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related
