CATL in Turbigo is seeking an on-site O&M engineer to oversee daily inspections and preventive maintenance of energy storage systems including PCS, BMS, and EMS. You will diagnose faults, perform on-site repairs, and coordinate with technical teams to ensure system uptime.

The role also covers commissioning support, data management, and safety compliance. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in O&M for large storage projects, fluent English, and Italian as a plus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a relevant field.

Qualifications

On-site Equipment Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, spot checks, and preventive maintenance on energy storage systems (PCS, BMS, EMS, battery clusters, transformers, switchgear, fire suppression systems, etc.) according to O&M plans; promptly identify and resolve equipment anomalies to ensure safe and stable system operation.

Fault Diagnosis & Emergency Response: Receive and respond to equipment fault alarms; rapidly perform on-site fault localization, root cause analysis, and repair recovery; coordinate with relevant technical teams on complex faults to minimize downtime and improve system availability.

Equipment Commissioning Support: Coordinate resources for post-installation commissioning, grid-connection testing, trial operation, and final acceptance of energy storage projects.

O&M Data Management & Reporting: Collect and organize operational data, fault records, maintenance records, and inspection reports; analyze equipment operating status and health conditions; propose optimization recommendations; and regularly produce O&M analysis reports to support equipment reliability improvement.

On-site Safety Management & Customer Communication: Strictly enforce electrical safety operation procedures and energy storage industry safety standards; implement on-site risk control and work permit systems; maintain communication and coordination with customers, owners, and relevant partners; provide timely feedback on equipment operation; and enhance customer satisfaction.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above
• Skills: Experience in O&M and maintenance of large-scale energy storage projects preferred
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Languages: Fluent in English, good at Italian is a plus
