HyperStrong in Italy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to lead on-site commissioning, testing and support for energy storage and electrical systems across project sites in Italy.

The role requires a degree in electrical engineering or related field, hands-on site experience, and the ability to work closely with project teams, customers, and partners. Proficiency in English and Italian is essential, with occasional travel to different locations.

Mansioni

• On-site commissioning, testing, inspection, and acceptance support for electrical equipment and energy storage systems.
• Carry out system power-on, parameter setting, functional testing, communication testing, and performance verification.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and operation.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning records, test reports, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and local partners regarding site progress and actions.
• Support installation supervision, safety compliance, and handover activities on site.

4. Job Summary

The Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for on-site commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and technical support for energy storage and electrical systems in Italy.

This role requires a solid educational background in electrical engineering or related disciplines, hands-on site experience, and the ability to work closely with project, engineering, and customer teams.

5. Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for on-site commissioning, testing, inspection, and acceptance support for electrical equipment and energy storage systems.
• Carry out system power-on, parameter setting, functional testing, communication testing, and performance verification according to technical documents and commissioning procedures.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot technical issues during commissioning and operation.
• Prepare and maintain commissioning records, test reports, issue lists, and site documentation.
• Coordinate with internal engineering, project management, supply chain, and after-sales teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Communicate with customers, subcontractors, and local partners regarding site progress, technical issues, and corrective actions.
• Support installation supervision, quality checks, safety compliance, and handover activities on site.
• Follow company EHS requirements and Italy local safety regulations during all site activities.

6. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Power Electronics, Energy Engineering, or other related majors.
• Solid understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, and commissioning procedures.
• Experience with energy storage systems, PCS, BMS, EMS, transformers, switchgear, inverters, or industrial electrical equipment is preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and commissioning manuals.
• Hands-on troubleshooting ability and willingness to work on project sites.
• Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural project environment.
• Professional command of English and Italian as a working language. Chinese language skills is a plus.
• Willingness to travel within Italy and, if required, to other European project sites.
• Valid driving license.

7. Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in commissioning, field service, electrical installation, or project delivery in the energy storage, renewable energy, power, or industrial automation sector.
• Familiarity with European electrical standards and site safety requirements.
• Ability to work independently under site pressure and solve problems efficiently.
