Geotab is seeking a Field Service Technical Specialist to support customers, installers and product teams through technical expertise and innovative solutions. You will participate in design, installation quality, certifications, and field service initiatives.

You will collaborate with Product, R&D, Sales, and Field Services to ensure Geotab solutions are installed and supported effectively, with travel up to 40% internationally.

Competenze

• Requires post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with OBD/CAN communications and SAE vehicle standards.
• Experience with both hardware and software integration.
• Knowledge of automotive electronic components.
• Experience managing third‑party contractor relationships.
• Proficiency with automotive/electronics test equipment and hand tools.
• Knowledge of communications systems and networks (Cellular, GPS, serial).
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel internationally up to 40%.

Mansioni

• Provide design support for New Product team and define product specs.
• Offer technical installation support, testing, and audits.
• Assist product development, field service quality, and pilot programs.
• Work with Product, R&D, Sales, Field Services, and customers to ensure proper installation and support.
• Conduct installer certification tests and maintain installation guides.
