TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy, covering Central and Southern Italy. You will install, commission, maintain, and repair sensor-based sorters at recycling bases, ensuring system performance and delivering excellent customer experiences.

The role involves frequent domestic travel across Italy with occasional trips abroad, plus training at our Germany center and collaboration with experienced colleagues to gain practical in-field expertise.

Job Description

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy, covering Central and Southern Italy. Candidates should ideally be based in Campania, Puglia or Molise to ensure efficient customer support.

As a key member, you will be responsible for providing support to our customers in Italy and East Europe. This role is ideal for those with an adventurous spirit, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across Italy and occasional trips abroad.

You will receive all the necessary training at our training center in Germany, as well as practical experience in the field with the support of your experienced colleagues.

Your tasks

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases.
• Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support.
• Optimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing.
• Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
• Acting as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.
