TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy, covering Central and Southern Italy. You will install, commission, maintain, and optimize sensor-based sorters and ensure peak performance of TOMRA systems in the field.

You will travel extensively within Italy and occasionally abroad, with training at our Germany center and guidance from experienced colleagues to develop practical field skills.

Competenze

• Based in Campania, Puglia or Molise preferred for efficient support.
• Willing to travel domestically across Italy and occasional trips abroad.
• Training provided at TOMRA's center in Germany, with hands-on field experience.

Mansioni

• Install, commission, maintain, optimize and repair sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling bases.
• Ensure maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.
• Deliver exceptional customer experiences through clear communication and support.
• Optimize sorting systems via sampling and testing to improve throughput.

• Act as liaison between customers and Headquarters, feeding back market insights.

Job Description

TOMRA is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy, covering Central and Southern Italy. Candidates should ideally be based in Campania, Puglia or Molise to ensure efficient customer support.

As a key member, you will be responsible for providing support to our customers in Italy and East Europe. This role is ideal for those with an adventurous spirit, as there will be lots of travel, mainly domestic across Italy and occasional trips abroad.

You will receive all the necessary training at our training center in Germany, as well as practical experience in the field with the support of your experienced colleagues.

Your tasks

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, optimization, and repair of sensor-based sorters at TOMRA Recycling installation bases.
• Ensuring maximum performance of TOMRA sorting systems in the field.
• Delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective communication and support.
• Optimizing the sorting systems/process by sampling and testing.
• Identifying opportunities to add value to our customers' businesses through the introduction of complementary TOMRA products, solutions, and services.
• Acting as a link between our customers and Headquarters – collecting and providing feedback from the market so that we can continuously look for new opportunities for our customers.
