Franklin Electric Italy is seeking a Field Service Engineer Specialist to provide technical service and support for water systems, including pumps, motors and drives. In the assigned territory you will troubleshoot, train customers, and present technical seminars to distributors and contractors.

You will also represent Franklin Electric at on-site meetings, trade shows, and prepare weekly reports detailing site issues and customer needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with electronics specialization and 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Solid knowledge of water systems, pumps, motors and drives; field service exposure preferred.
• Proven communication and presentation skills; ability to work independently and organize workload.

Mansioni

• Provide technical service and support on Franklin Electric water systems in the assigned territory.
• Guide testing, troubleshooting, and on-site installations; resolve field issues promptly.
• Deliver technical seminars to distributors, dealers, and contractors; participate in trade shows.

Field Service Engineer Specialist

Description

Responsible for supporting sales, world-class technical representation, support, and training, to water systems distributors and their contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• In the assigned territory, provide technical service and support on Franklin Electric water systems products, including motors, pumps, and electronic drives and controls.
• Guide testing and troubleshooting of Franklin products in water systems installations.
• Provide direction and expertise during new product installations.
• Represent Franklin Electric at on-site installation meetings to timely resolve field issues.
• Present technical seminars to water systems distributors, dealers, and contractors.
• Represent Franklin Electric at trade shows and special events.
• Write and submit weekly reports needed to highlight problems at specific sites and/or with certain customers or products.
• Provide specialized training to specific customers.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

• Working knowledge of water systems in general, with specific knowledge of pumps, motors, drives and controls.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills. Ability to develop strong working relationships with water systems professionals. Ability to work independently with outstanding organizational skills.
• Previous sales or service experience preferred.
• Self-motivated and energetic personality with a desire to service the customer.
• Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations with customers, clients, the general public, and other employees of the organization.
• Maintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business information.
• Reads and understands documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Deals with problems involving several known variables in situations of routine nature.
• Plans the time, method, manner, and/or performance sequence of own work; may also occasionally assist in planning work assignments performed by others within a limited area of operation.
• Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions.

• Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of known variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Travels up to 40 percent of the time
• Reads, writes, and speaks English fluently

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/high school technical diploma – electronics specialization
• Three to five years of technical, sales, or related water systems or industry experience.

Computer Skills

• Knowledge of the basic MS office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)

• Salary Range (Gross Annual Salary): 30.000€ - 40.000€
• Variable Compensation: Eligibility for the Premio di Risultato (PDR), in accordance with the applicable company agreement.
