Job summary

Leica Biosystems, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Field Service Engineer based in Torino (Piemonte) to service Advanced Staining instruments and support customers in the field. You’ll install, maintain, modify and repair equipment while adhering to ISO and regulatory guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in biomedical field service, strong English and IT skills, and a commitment to integrity and compliance. Travel up to 80% is expected.

Qualifications

• Good English (both written and spoken).
• Good IT skills; instruments run on computers and connect to networks.
• Technical High School Diploma (Mechanic, Electric, Electronic...).
• At least 3 years of experience in Biomedical field with hospital equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide installation support, maintenance, modification and/or repair on various Advanced Staining instruments.
• Effectively communicate with internal colleagues and external customers within established time guidelines to meet expectations.
• Document and complete service administration activities to comply with ISO, FDA, and Company policies.
• Ensure timely application of all published Technical Service Bulletins for field instruments.
• Support sale of service contracts and assist with configurations and upgrades to generate service revenue.
