Revvity Italy is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Diagnostics & Life Science to service Italy remotely and travel as needed. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain immunoassay platforms, LC/MS, and related instruments, ensuring maximum uptime and customer satisfaction.

Collaborating with Sales, Applications, and European Service, you will provide on-site training, manage service documentation, and uphold Quality Management System standards.

Competenze

• 5+ years of field service engineering experience in diagnostics or life-science instruments.
• Hands-on with analytical/clinical instrumentation in labs.
• Strong PC skills, Windows, networking, and LIS familiarity.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Italy.

Mansioni

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain diagnostics and life-science instruments to maximize uptime.
• Execute preventive maintenance and respond to service calls, prioritizing critical needs.

As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be the technical face of Revvity across Italy, ensuring our cutting-edge diagnostic and life science instruments deliver maximum value to customers. Your expertise will directly impact customer satisfaction, instrument uptime, and ultimately, scientific breakthroughs in laboratories nationwide. Collaborating closely with Sales, Applications, and Service teams across Europe, you'll contribute to Revvity's overall business performance and growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Service Delivery

Diagnose, repair, and maintain Revvity's Diagnostics and Life Sciences portfolio (immunoassay platforms, LC/MS, DNA extractors, plate readers, imaging systems, liquid handling, etc.) ensuring maximum uptime across Italian territory.

Execute preventive maintenance schedules and respond to service calls, prioritizing critical customer needs.

Manage and track technical escalations, coordinating with European technical support and product specialists to ensure timely resolution

Provide on-site technical training and troubleshooting support to optimize instrument performance.

Collaboration & Business Impact

Partner with Sales, Applications, and European Service teams to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities.

Share field insights with Product Management to support continuous improvement initiatives.

Operational & Administrative Excellence

• Manage spare parts inventory and complete all service documentation, reports, and expenses per SLA requirements.
• Maintain current technical documentation and ensure compliance with Quality Management System and safety standards.
• Align activities with departmental KPIs and performance targets.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

• Technical degree or University degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years in field service engineering with proven ability to independently resolve complex technical issues
• Hands-on experience with analytical/clinical instrumentation in laboratory environments (pharmaceutical, research, clinical, academic)
• Track record of successful preventive and corrective maintenance on sophisticated technical equipment
• Advanced PC skills including Windows, networking, and laboratory information systems

Technical Skills

• Strong electronics background, preferably in high-tech service environments.
• Understanding of analytical and clinical instrument applications.
• Experience with any Revvity portfolio instruments is a strong plus (immunoassay platforms, LC/MS, DNA extractors, plate readers, imaging systems, liquid handling, etc.).

Soft Skills & Languages

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact professionally at all customer levels.
• Autonomous, organized, and rigorous with strong team collaboration mindset.
• Fluent Italian and strong English skills (able to communicate effectively in technical discussions, write reports, and collaborate with international teams); additional languages are a plus.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel

CCNL Level : Level 3 - Commercio ( Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di lavoro per i dipendenti da aziende del Terziario della Distribuzione e dei Servizi)

Salary Range : €40,500 - €50.500 Annual base salary

The salary range disclosed for this position is determined using objective and gender‑neutral criteria, such as required skills, competencies, professional experience, and relevant industry experience. Where applicable, the range is further aligned with the provisions and classification structures of the relevant collective bargaining agreement (CBA). This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to the fixed base salary. The target compensation mix for this role is 83% fixed salary and 17% variable pay. The variable compensation component will be determined in accordance with the Company's internal compensation policies and will be reviewed annually based on the achievement of specific individual and/or business performance objectives
