We are seeking a Field Sales Specialist to bridge the gap between technology and customer needs. Representing AMD and HP, you will work closely with end customers, and internal teams to deliver tailored solutions, drive technical engagement, and position cutting‑edge products in a competitive market.

Responsibilities:

  • Create opportunities for AMD to expand its customer and revenue portfolio within market segments defined by AMD (e.g., Public Sector, Automotive).
  • Perform regular account mapping and identify overlapping business opportunities between AMD and/or HP representatives to build a business outreach plan and build business relationships across all cross functional stakeholders in the buying cycle (HP, AMD GAM, Field Application Engineer (“FAE”), TSR, Business Development Executive (BDE), End Customer).
  • Promptly inform the Extended Sales Team Lead of any additional opportunities. The Extended Sales Team Lead will promptly relay these opportunities to the regional AMD GAM Sales Team for instructions, including without limitation, next steps and guidance.
  • For additional identified opportunities, the FSS will, on a territory‑by‑territory basis, establish a strategy to increase sales, including without limitation, by identifying the best AMD‑based and HP client product portfolio to address the needs of the End Customer. In the event that the End Customer requests alternative AMD‑based OEM solutions, the FSS shall log this information with the Extended Sales Team Lead and the AMD GAM Sales Team in AMD’s SFDC.
  • In approaching End Customers to seek out sales opportunities, the FSS will ensure that (a) handles all opportunities from first introduction through to the close of the sale, (b) collects and reports all the productivity metrics described below in Schedule 1, and (c) accurately enters all related data on a timely basis into such computer systems as AMD may require from time‑to‑time, including without limitation, AMD’s SFDC.
  • Act as a technology advocate for AMD products, promoting the AMD brand, AMD innovation and AMD best‑in‑class product design with the goal of expanding AMD’s market share.
