Job summary

Spaceflux seeks a Field & Installation Engineer for a full-time hybrid role based in Venice, Italy. You will install, commission, maintain and repair telescopes, mounts, domes and roll-off roofs across Spaceflux's sensor network, including site power and connectivity interfaces, and refurbish deployed hardware.

You will help set up a workshop in-region to pre-build and test systems and write repeatable installation procedures, with frequent international travel.

Qualifications

• Hands-on electro-mechanical or mechatronic experience required.
• Basic IT, networking and electrical competence.
• Willingness to travel internationally; fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, maintain and repair telescopes, mounts, domes and roll‑off roofs.
• Refurbish deployed hardware and provide second‑line support to operations.
• Help set up an in‑region workshop to pre‑build and test systems; write procedures.
