Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Safety Coordinator to manage safety coordination across execution and design phases in Italy, including Fano offices. You will prepare and update safety plans, coordinate on-site activities among contractors, and verify compliance with Italian health and safety regulations throughout project work streams.

The role requires a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering/Architecture/Surveying, 3 years of related experience in Oil & Gas, and valid safety certifications.

Qualifications

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or surveying.
• Valid 120-hour Safety Coordinator training certificate and valid 40-hour refresher.
• 3 years’ experience as Safety Coordinator in Oil & Gas plants or pipelines.
• Native Italian with good English ability.
• Knowledge of PSC/POS and Health & Safety File planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update the PSC during execution; CSP during design.
• Coordinate on-site safety with contractors and workers.
• Review POS for alignment with the PSC.
• Plan durations and create Gantt charts for sequencing of activities.
• Estimate safety costs not subject to tender discounts.
• Ensure compliance with Article 92 and Decree 81/2008.
